@marioguzman@mastodon.social Friend bought one during first few years I was living in Japan. Kept popping the circuit breaker in his apartment when it ramped up because pulled so much power. Had to get electrician to prevent; upgraded the circuit, rewired part of the system to accommodate. Put out so much waste heat he didn’t need a space heater during winter even though Japanese places have approximately the same insulation as a cracker box and we lived in snow country. Absolute beast of a machine.
