@aby@aus.social the lip-service hypocritical bullshit that the mining corps do here in Perth is definitely overused. Saying that they respect elders past, present, and future, and then doing exactly nothing to actually respect the First Nations elders. Or anything else that gets in the way of offshoring the profits of stripping irreplaceable resources from their land. Yes, that’s definitely “overused”. Let’s put a stop to it. Tax the fuckers Norway style.
