@mmstick@fosstodon.org Wow, this is good to know, but about as obvious as a pebble buried on a beach. Is there anything like a "guide to going to Cosmic" for us normal human users? I mean, I've been using Linux for 15 years and I'm finding this transition pretty tough in spots. And it remains that the flatpak version of Zoom did not save any of my new meeting history or settings. I can now find the traces in ~/.var/app/... but none of my stuff was actually saved there. Zoom is flakey as heck on Cosmic, just in terms of window control--chat and participants, floating versus pinned--but it does work without crashing. I blame Zoom mostly for this, its Linux apps have always been a bit iffy.

@demerara@social.vivaldi.net This isn't really a COSMIC thing but a Flatpak one, and we were already shipping Flatpak in previous releases so the same applies there as well. There's a Learn Linux TV tutorial for tiling in COSMIC though. https://youtu.be/IqqhbWnxYlY?is=aROH_GDI-6JzCQ1J The official website also has tutorials - https://system76.com/pop/productivity - https://system76.com/pop/customization
