@grahamcarden@mastodon.social @Sheril@mastodon.social Medium estimate is 2037. Population growth is slowing, not just in relative terms, but in absolute as well. So the time to reach 9, 10, 11 gigapersons slow, we might not reach 12. World population is plateauing. World life expectancy has also gone up from 53 years in 1960, to 65 years in 1990, to 73 years in 2020.
