Modern computing problems: I have all these gorgeous desktop wallpapers and a remarkably good monitor, and almost no transparent applications (and if I had them, I probably couldn’t see well enough to use them without readers anymore). *sigh*

@darkuncle@infosec.exchange I used to theme my desktop, match tiles and window decorations to backgrounds, and only used transparent terminals. A few of my AfterStep themes were highly rated on Themes.org. My desktops were quite lovely. And them one day: /usr/local/bin/xsetroot -solid black And I went back to basic and reliable xterm.
