@mattpedals@mastodon.online Well, presumably the same amount will go to them as it does now - unless you’re saying they’d get paid more by a nationalised operstor than a privatised one?

@DrEdBridges@toot.wales I wouldn’t be surprised if they put up their prices! They have a stranglehold on the industry and are one of the big barriers to making the railways more cost-effective.
