@federicomena@mstdn.mx I took my 8yo EV to get the brakes looked at for squeeking, and they said the pads were only 30% worn (70% life still in them) but the rotor was rusty from disuse and the slide pins needed lube, it had dried out.

@federicomena@mstdn.mx I will say spending a kilobuck on tires every 3rd year is a thing, and I have a separate set of winter tires, so thats been my biggest maintenance expense, that and normal wear.
