@seachanger@alaskan.social The other part of this that most people don’t know is that doctors spend a significant chunk of their workday, or more like off the clock time, fighting with insurance companies for pretty much anything at all for patients. One time at a meditation retreat I was chatting with an orthopedic doc. I said to him, “At least broken bones are clear cut, and you don’t have to fight with insurance companies.” He said, “I have to fight for every bone I set.”
