@sullybiker@sully.site @seachanger@alaskan.social last year my husband lost his fight with lung cancer. My encounters with the insurance were horrific. I finally told them to start paying and stop trying to console me after a simple CT scan was denied because it was “ too soon after the last one” even though he had a significant change in his symptoms.
Had they approved he may be alive today. They don’t care, but it cost them a million or more, that denial.

@Magooish@mas.to @seachanger@alaskan.social I'm very sorry to hear about your husband. It's a miserable disease. I got very luck with imaging as I was on on a trial and the scans were part of the methodology, so I got very good surveillance without too much stress. The whole thing soured me so much, but I also realize I am very lucky.
