I also think people/markets are too optimistic when being told about "AI-Healthcare". I wonder how successful lawsuits for mistakes will be 🤔
I recently talked to a friend who is a doctor about AI in the operation room and it's much further away than people think, however the phone line is a different story 🤷
PS Google is the worst 😡

@madeindex@mastodon.social oh do not get me started on 'AI' in medicine! The same with self driving cars - think of emergency vehicles. As someone with a lot of medical problems those are the last things I want in the way. Yes it's hype and it's embellishment. Which says the product is not as good as you think. Now I'm not saying that Apple is not quality but iOS17/18, macOS14/15 .... those are another story. Siri has always been an idiot. At least she's somewhat contained unlike google, like you say.
