My 2024 doesn't have backlit handlebar controls either, but it'd definitely be a nice-to-have.
In some ways, I wish I waited and got a 2025 model with full LED lighting and cruise control included from the factory - but there's always going to be something new around the corner. If I'd waited, I wouldn't have been able to go on all these adventures I've had.
How's your 2018 holding up? My 2024 is running like a dream after 17,500 km (10,800 mi).

@dHeinemann@fosstodon.org always the way, next year's model will have something new and cool. Mine is running really well - I had some reservations about getting an early M8 engine but not a hiccup (touch wood) and copes with runs to Phillip Island or into the CBD equally happily
