@rozeboosje@masto.ai @adirtyhippie@mastodon.online What I can never understand in US politics is how few people in power seem to want universal healthcare. Universal healthcare improves people's health and it also helps businesses. A healthy workforce who's ailments can be fixed quickly without leading to complications is a more productive workforce. If more people can be in active employment then the amount of benefits that is paid to them goes down and those same people will also pay more income tax to the state.
