a quick update, it works like a charm. getting many new IUPAC names this way, and it seems the 500k will be reached in about 2 weeks, which is quite amazing realizing it was around 290k 2 days ago, when it ran for about a year. (it's 332k right now)
I think the difference is simply the many article JATS that come in late, and missed when doing API searches for a certain time period
