@RaymondPierreL3@aus.social I do not know much of the Australian context. I only know Germany. And reading about demographics leaning more towards authoritarianism - elder conservatives, uneducated people and privileged white, ablebodied, hetero, neurotypical people - is exactly what I see here, too. I don't feel safe from our country ending up in an authoritarian regime, even though we should know better. It can happen again, which is why active resistance is so important.
