Maybe I missed a more relevant detail in the conversion, because I only skimmed through that HN discussion thread. Was there anything in particular around dealing with users' PII in that thread that you're concerned about? What's more, I'm not aware of any other company that offers a comparable service. And by comparable I mean: zero logs, no ads, meaningful search customization. I'll gladly check out alternatives, though, if there are any. (2/2)

@jochenwolters@mastodon.social Yes, the problem for me is this quote: "we are not in the business of selling user data, do not collect it or ever need it so GDPR was not affecting us (in my mind)."
