The old man is home from the animal hospital! I thought he'd hide but no he very nervously inspected all his spots and things to make sure they hadn't changed then proceeded to lie in his favorite spot. This may be the first time he truly relaxes in a while, so that's nice. Then I blinked and he came to say hi
