Yesterday I was having a really hard day, probably just hormonal and dehydrated, but still.
Today, I have had so many friends message me about various things, pebbling, asking about getting together, and I just remembered that life is so much better than it used to be when I pretended to be someone else. I have friends. Who care about me. Who want to spend time with me. Who do spend time with me. Who think about me when we're not together. Who don't get sick of me.
And I just. I'm so happy to be me, and I'm so happy to finally really have genuine friends in my life. I couldn't have had this if I hadn't transitioned, if I hadn't started being open and honest with people about who I am, so that they could see me and see my spark, which I had all but hidden away. But they sure as fuck see it now.
Today is a really good day.
