By european standards the Republicans are extremist right (aka fascist) and Democrats are right.
There is no center or left at all.

Based on morality, common sense, and public opinion, the folks that American politicians and media describe as the “radical left” should rightfully be referred to as centrist or moderate. A radical left movement would be demanding guillotines and reeducation camps for capitalists and their enablers.
