There are some spots where he’s using Norwegian grammar and verbiage and just translated it word for word into English.
You can do this with the Nordic languages and get decent results, but sometimes the grammar doesn’t quite align.

As a French who learnt English and then tried to learn Norwegian, I can say that the syntaxes are incredibly close. I can’t do that with German. To learn English when your mother tongue is Norwegian should mostly be a question of vocabulary.
