@alfonsosiciliano@mastodon.bsd.cafe black screen at ttyv8 after login with SDDM, and no response to Alt-F2 (i.e. I can not use KRunner to run 'plasmashell --replace').
Pictured: VirtualBox after switching from ttyv1 back to ttyv8. I ran two commands at ttyv1:
tail /var/log/messages
service dbus status
Re: , this was with a run of the script before first boot of the installed system.
I'll retry the same ISO with a run of the script after first boot.

Not reproducible, however I have a VirtualBox snapshot of the bugged installation. I can restart SDDM and login, again I get a black screen. Xorg.0.log has one error: open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory Maybe negligible. The same error occurs when I successfully startx and use twm instead of Plasma (X11). 'reboot -r' is not enough to work around the issue. Plasma did work, once, after 'shutdown -r now', however this is not a consistently effective workaround. I'll continue to edit this post …
