@OptiplexPrime@mastodon.social @firebreathingduck@social.vivaldi.net @danirabbit@mastodon.online problem with the new Microsoft web apps has a lot more to do with badly performing react frameworks that subvert the way web browsers are supposed to operate than it does the PWA tooling.

@rileytaylor@hachyderm.io @OptiplexPrime@mastodon.social @danirabbit@mastodon.online While I wholeheartedly endorse criticizing Microsoft's poor engineering practices, I think React in general is now heavyweight. Lightweight PWAs whose creators try to incorporate only exactly what they need are rare.
