I went to the Spike Island open studios in Bristol yesterday. Dozens of artists show their work in the environment where they made it, among the tools and paraphernalia of their studios, and that's always fascinating to me. The younger kid has decided he doesn't like art, though. He was not impressed. The stand-out exhibit, for the rest of us at least, was Piano Migrations, by Kathy Hinde. It's the sound-board of a piano, with several little motors attached to it, and a video of small birds fluttering around projected onto it. As the shadow of a bird moves, the motors activate in its path, brushing the strings and creating the impression that its wings are touching them. There's a video on the artist's website, but it can't capture the physicality of the real object. https://kathyhinde.co.uk/work/piano-migrations-installation/ (If you're in the area, you can still visit today.)
