@donmelton@mstdn.social I edited it again to add, not sure if elk.zone isn't accepting the edits, will try directly on masto, thank you for letting me know! I definitely forget my alt text, but almost always remember and definitely appreciate reminders when I do not. This time I remembered within seconds but it looks like the edit didn't take the first time.

@donmelton@mstdn.social Thank you for pointing this out! @elk@m.webtoo.ls there seems to be a bug that alt text addition edits are not sticking! I tried it thrice here, and neither time took, but it looks like it worked on my home site.

@chancerydaily@masto.ai I followed @PleaseCaption@botsin.space It is a bot who will follow you back and watch your toots/retoots and remind you if they don’t include alt text. I find it really useful!
