To me it means they don't want to be MY friend, since I understand that pretty much EVERYTHING is political.

@darwinwoodka@mastodon.social I agree. Though, I do think it is possible to be apolitical in the abstract sense of say mathematics. As soon as theory is applied to people then politics apply. An obvious example is politics in sports - like of course it's political!
