I don't really enjoy having to join yarn as regularly as you do in nalbinding, and there's only so much you can cram into the needle eye before it gets too fat to pull through the stitches. But I like the texture.

@yirggzmb@lasersare.fun Oh cool, looks great. If you knit, I've seen the herringbone stitch gives a similar texture and density by knitting into each stitch twice, and you won't need to join yarn as often.
