It will also be possible for people to manually accept or refuse a quote-boost, and to retro-actively cancel one.
I think it's a good safe stance on the subject.

@aslakr@mastodon.social Oh, sorry, I misread what you wrote. It's possible to quote-boost any type of post when quote controls say OK, but according to the documentation, it shouldn't be possible to have both a quoted status AND an image/poll in the same status. That's what I meant in the post you were replying to.
