@mWare@ottawa.place While I don’t doubt it’s getting used I suspect it’s pretty limited. At the very least its usage isn’t common enough (yet) to have made it into any dictionaries or etymology references I checked.

  • @Chigaze@cosocial.ca @mWare@ottawa.place I can say I would write "eachother" in most but not quite all circumstances, and actually "each other" looks weirder in print to me? I didn't realize this wasn't common, though I have looked askance at spellchecks underlining "eachother" I never gave it much more thought until now. (I'm one of those folks that has autocorrect firmly off on any touchscreen devices and cannot use swipe keyboards, and it's dozens of little things like this that have had me in that small but obstinate camp for years.)
