@reilyh@blahaj.zone that makes sense and i wouldnt mind that at all. i just find it annoying when people send a voice message without any alt text, especially when they are perfectly capable of typing. in my experience they also seem to be the type of person who gets mad at me for not responding quickly enough, and the voice message adds an extra barrier.

@LunaCOLON3@blahaj.zone now sending a voice message and expecting fast responses, that is fucked up. also i've seen lots of folk around me play vca at 2x because yes, they can be such a drag. and they're not searchable! So alt text for the win
