Imma need a QRD what did that instance do to get a defed in the first place?
I trust you Graf you run a tight ship, if you had reasons to defed them I don't mind since I've never interacted with them.

there are 3 boogeymen of the """"free and open internet"""" clear threats with clear intent, dox/revenge porn and CSAM. the host website that runs the instance falls into the second sometimes the first category so we try to avoid law enforcement whenever possible. but there is now a setting in pleroma that you can redirect a remote post to the server it originated from instead so yay
