I've tried a couple times to nail down exactly why this is and what I'm landing on today is "I find it less interesting to work without conditions and branches". Like, OM is turing complete but the inputs are static so it doesn't even have to be. I prefer the games where you have to compute something Kaizen is also like OM in this respect but I found the optimization more fun there personally Don't get me wrong. Opus Magnum is a great game hehe
