@fatbobman would the injection of the mcp configuration also work when the Claude binary is not overwritten?

@fatbobman thank you for writing this up! I'm trying to follow your article to configure additional MCP servers for Codex, but the built-in agent insists that the only available MCP is xcode-tools. The config changes are fine, Codex CLI works just fine. Is there some sort of internal allowlist in Xcode? Or is this an environment issue?
