Any products that you all recommend that are like SPAN smart smart electrical panels but without all the cloud dependency bs and can be ran locally? (I don&#39;t love the idea of something so important being reliant on a server somewhere existing forever.)

@christianselig@mastodon.social there is at least one Home Assistant integration for the Span Panel - https://github.com/SpanPanel/span I don’t know how much that gets you away from Span’s cloud, though.

@christianselig@mastodon.social it works locally without the cloud too (after initial setup and configuration). I’ve had to access it when our internet was out during an extended power outage last year.

@christianselig@mastodon.social Leviton smart panels? Probably cloud based too. They’re basically the only 2 in NA. You can do smart monitoring with other products but they won’t give you circuit level relay control to shut power off if you need that, most people do not.
