you know, when you think about it, retirement accounts make total sense: "obviously *you* cant be trusted to manage your own money. so here's what we're going to do: we're going to put your money into another bank account. you cant do anything with it! we cant have you losing it now, goodness. but you know who can do something with it? all these people gambling on the economy who want to make themselves and other people rich!! and if they lose your money? ahh shoot, well that's just how the game goes sometimes isnt it?"
