@970uts1d3@defcon.social Makes perfect sense! I've been a Devuan user since the split (except on a box that's running a BSD), and still mourn Debian sometimes. It's great seeing that this is still possible.

@dgoodmaniii@rcsocial.net they are one of the few distros out there that have package builds that work with alternative sys inits. I love arch, but I'm leaving that distro behind due to its ties with systemd -- its hardcoded, so not easy to do anything like this guide does with Debian and openRC...Artix seems like a good try, but struggles with video and usability. As far as I have it tested, I am struggling with Bluetooth and the openRC compatibility - sound not playing over wireless headsets but thats solvable with some tinkering in the confs I think. Overall the kde-plasma-desktop and openRC is pretty damn daily driver friendly...
