@Tamami@mastodon.art it's absolutely normal to struggle under your circumstances ! I encourage you to find what feels good, what's making sense right now, and not to worry too much about the rest. The rest will come in its own time. Take your time, I look forward to seeing what you'll make !

@Tamami@mastodon.art but also, I don't think that what you've been painting is uninteresting (At least, what you showed here, I don't know about the rest). It's... turned inward, a bit subdued sometimes, and still beautiful. I've liked your experiments too, I think you need them, whatever they are, and they're interesting to see ! I really like being able to follow artistic developments. I think, maybe, that what you don't like in your recent work is ... the fact that it reflects how you feel ? So when looking at it you see your complicated emotions, the struggle, the fatigue. But to us it's less personal, we can see the full beauty of the complicated and profoundly human feelings you put in. Art ! 🌱
