I find the literally anybody can do programming or even develop games notion anecdotally kinda.... sus? Maybe even self deprecating. I've got a friend who has tried to do programming 101 courses like 9 times at this point. I'm not sure if they have learned much. Not sting they are stupid or bad, their brain just work different. I technically do have a degree in software engineering but there are concepts I just couldn't grasp while studying. I have no need or interest to see if i could learn them now. I find people who are self taught programmers from young age to be somewhat mythical creatures. Not good programmers or database designers necessarily but built different for sure.
