I can't speak for most of millennials, to be fair, because I am not most of millennials, but what helped in my case was that I knew both my now wife and her family for a rich 5 years before we even got engaged. There was no sex and no dating other people throughout. The other thing that helped was the fact that we met in choir.

@SavvyLevie@poa.st I think most of us were in our prime around 2015-2018, we had to chose partners back then, it was a different time and we didn't know that being with a whore would cause problems, men were sold that single mom was good and needed help blah blah blah by Hollywood and lack of understanding...
