Lilith is literally just there to explain why there are two creation accounts by co-opting an ancient Semitic demon blamed for miscarriages and stillbirths, which was a foil for Asherah, wife of Yahweh and later turned into a fetish for misogyny under Josiah. I like a bit of casual sexism because women don't like being put on a pedestal, but even that shit gets stomach-churning.
