Which in turn makes me a little sad, because I'd love to love the game and especially the campaign mode, but I simply don't have the time (and don't want to make time) to make Arcs such a big part of my hobby life. #boardgames #Arcs

@dedalusroot@mastodon.social I think you're right when it comes to the time investment the design simply assumes you are able and willing to put into it, to make play flow well. But I also think that needing to know all rules details in order to play confidently, doesn't mesh with how the game is set up to be played. Every fate seems like a mini-expansion for players to explore and experiment with. Not one to internalise quickly and easily include into the campaign.
