Tonight's dessert is apple pie. While my baking skills certainly lack the artistry of @NorcalGma2, I hope the taste is satisfactory. BTW, the crust is a Crisco crust from a recipe given to my mother about 60 years ago by a next door neighbour at their first home. The filling recipe is basically Betty Crocker, with tapioca flour added to the wheat flour to improve thickening. The top crust has an egg wash and demerara sugar. #food #baking #ApplePie #pie
