Watching a video of folk looking though home decor magazines from the 70s, listening to them be triggered with childhood memories of growing up as 80s kids in households decorated in the 70s, and reading a comment section of other folk sharing in the same memories... And wondering what planet this version of the 70s had unfolded on, as it certainly wasn't one myself or my childhood peers inhabited. My 70s was the decade of stagflation, not the riotous vomits of raucous color and over-the-top adornment that these magazines depict.
