I have always felt that IT was *not enough* engineering – not reliable, not exact enough like engineering buildings or bridges – and now the use of LLMs makes it even less so. Is it so wrong to want our software, our writing, drawing, painting to be crafted by humans rather than generated by unfeeling machines?
