Crazy boost, crazy drift, crazy stop and also limiter cut are a HUGE part of the meta on arcade. The timing is slightly different than on the dreamcast version. Fun fact, I can't get the timing down on the dreamcast version. But yeah, this is in the original arcade version (which runs on the Naomi, which is an arcade version of the dreamcast hardware) and it's the key to getting scores above a few thousand.

@dragonminded@chitter.xyz Dang it, I must have tapped into muscle memory and used the dreamcast timing on the arcade cab. I'll have to try again next time I find the arcade version in the wild. Are limiter cuts the same thing as in F-Zero GX where you let off the throttle when above the speed cap?
