@@joelle@social.joelle.us I read some interesting studies about that. Apparently men who are violent tend to have low T, not high T. High T men tend to be more calm and in control. Still domineering, but calm and in control.
You also see testosterone spike in women in certain situations. For example, if someone is threatening a woman's children, the "mama bear" comes out and she protects them. That response is aided by the release of testosterone. or at least coincides with it. This includes a temporary increase in strength and power, which helps her save her child.
