Sometimes when I experience small petty outrage at something I think of this comment.

There was a This American Life where an author got in his head about bad reviews on Amazon, so he clicked one of the profiles of people who’d given him 2 stars, and found that she had given 5 stars to a lavender polka dot cupcake stand.
