Shocking!
It is clear that upstream devs entered the conversation already frustrated. Is a shame that they had already made up their minds on the outcome and didn't want a conversion. And here I was thinking open source was about communication and collaboration.

@viharm@twit.social @kevinbowen@hachyderm.io @nekohayo@mastodon.social distros aren't contributors, they are leeches that only contribute problems. This issue was filed 7 MONTHS AGO. And received zero response for 6 months. If you genuinely think you can treat upstream like this and still expect more, then you are severely mistaken.
