@colinhayhurst@mastodon.online I mean something slightly but significantly different -- these laws would make building such capabilities a requirement. So it's a mandate, not just encouragement.

@Mer__edith@mastodon.world good point and put that way clarifies better how this is deeply disturbing. You may have them already, but if you need contacts in UK .... we are and have been involved in consultations on the UK OSB, though in our case as a search engine
