@Mer__edith@mastodon.world which is exactly why I use it and support it. I will be sorry to lose my UK contacts. Will they be able to use it anyway if they use a VPN?

@elliek@halifaxsocial.ca We have no plans to leave the UK. However, if we were faced with a choice between undermining privacy and leaving, we would choose to leave. You can look to our efforts to provide Signal to people in Iran when the Iranian government blocked it for an example of the efforts we've gone to ensure people have access.
