@dimitribouniol@mastodon.social @fmarini@mastodon.social @finestructure@mastodon.social How fast people go obviously depends on the people and the car, but I’d say 130 are the slow / EV drivers, 150-180ish is kinda normal, but it’s also absolutely normal for people to go way over 200. EVs are actually very good to measure the effect.

  • @helge@mastodon.social @fmarini@mastodon.social @finestructure@mastodon.social Ok, from my perspective, >130 km/h (already over the speed limits here) is “going too fast”, hence most of my confusion. I can’t concede that going 130 is giving you so much more air resistance over 85 that you are getting worse fuel economy in any car even capable of going that fast comfortably, but its a totally different story for >200 😛 (Also, do I even want to know what an accident looks like at 200 km/h? 😬)
