More and more this election is showing the very ugly underside of America. (See Trump's hate-filled rally at Madison Square Garden this weekend). And it all really comes down to the racism, patriarchy and misogyny that is baked into this country's DNA. Trump supporters don't care about his character, his crimes, our right to privacy or freedom. It's that Trump hates the same people they hate. That's why they'll vote for him. I'm not sure how to convince someone not to hate a fellow human.
